Al-Sharq, 25 August 2015: Qatar’s Interior Ministry has warned Qatari nationals to protect their personal information against online blackmailers.
The Ministry also suggested personal information not be saved on mobile phones because of the potential hacking threat. Applications should also only be downloaded from safe websites.
Anyone who is blackmailed online can report it to the Ministry by email, fax, or telephone. The details can be found on the Ministry's website.
