Almuhannadi listed three obstacles hindering the Bureau’s work including some legislation, technical expertise and the response of relevant departments with reports and recommendations issued by the Bureau.
Almuhannadi also explained some legislation don’t support the Bureau’s work and added the financial crisis and falling oil prices are likely to make Gulf Cooperation Council member states keener to use better auditing practices in banks and general budgeting.
