Raya, 18 January 2016: Qatar’s Emir, HRH Sheikh Tamim Al Thani has issued a new law regulating sports clubs in the country.

Each club should also have a founding mandate which includes the name, purpose, and membership of the club. Heads of clubs are not allowed to work in other executive roles in other clubs.
The Law also prevents clubs from intervening in religious, political, ethical or sectarian activities.
