His Excellency Sheikh Abdulla Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of interior has visited Qatar Financial Centre. During the visit, H.E have met with the Executive team of the Centre, where he was briefed about the accomplishments the Centre has achieved, the Strategy that it follows and the vision of the center in collaboration with Qatar’s vision 2030.
H.E visit involved visiting Qatar International Court where he was welcomed by Mr. Faisal Al-Sahouti, CEO of the Court, Judge Al-Sayed and Judge Al-Bader. H.E received a detailed explanation of the judicial system of the Qatar International Court, the mechanism of its work, the nature of its proceedings and the manner of its consideration and the levels of litigation.
 
As part of the visit, H.E the P.M had a tour in the court room + the break out rooms that are prepared for the litigants. Mr. Al-Sahouti then introduced to H.E the newly established electronic case management system (Electronic Court). The newly establish system provides high level of accessibility for parties without having to be present in the courtroom. This feature contributes to saving time and money, as well as ensuring the speed of settling disputes and proceedings before the court. Such developments at the court demonstrates how QICDRC continuously aims to provide an attractive and safe legal environment for foreign businesses wishing to invest in Qatar.
 
At the end of the visit H.E the Prime Minister stressed the importance of the pivotal role of Qatar International Court as a judicial entity that secures the healthy judicial environment for the investors and the company within the Centre.
