The fire broke out at a Nike store in the Villagio Mall on 28 May 2012 and trapped children, parents and teachers in the Gympanzee nursery on the top floor of the mall. The initial investigation found that faulty electrics in the Nike store caused the fire and the shop also lacked proper Government safety licences.
The Attorney General is waiting for a response from the Court.
