“2025 has been a year of remarkable growth and progress for the Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre (QICDRC), reinforcing our role as a global leader in international dispute resolution. From new legislative milestones to expanded international partnerships, every step has been taken with a clear vision: to build a court that is trusted, efficient, and responsive to the needs of modern commerce.
Our case volume continued to grow across all divisions, reflecting both confidence in the institution and the increasing sophistication of the Qatari and regional commercial market. The judiciary and Registry met this demand with unwavering commitment to procedural excellence and timely delivery of justice.
A key milestone this year was the continued implementation of Law No. 16 of 2024, which has streamlined judicial processes through single-judge hearings and faster case resolution — strengthening efficiency and investor confidence. Complementary updates to our Regulations and Procedural Rules further simplified filing, disclosure, and case management, bringing the QICDRC in line with leading international commercial courts.
We also invested heavily in people and technology. The Registry expanded its specialist teams, and we rolled out new digital case-management tools that make it easier for parties and counsel to interact with the Court from anywhere in the world.
Global partnerships continued to expand, with key MoUs signed with Jus Mundi, East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPSL), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) — enhancing arbitration transparency, legal research, and intellectual property dispute resolution. At the 22nd Doha Forum, QICDRC also hosted a panel on the ICC and ICJ, reinforcing our role in shaping international justice discourse.
Looking ahead, we remain focused on building a court that serves not only Qatar's businesses but the international community that increasingly chooses the QICDRC as its forum of choice. My thanks go to the President, the Judges, the Registry, and every member of our team for their outstanding work throughout 2025.”
