Through its supervisory arbitrational jurisdiction under Law No 2 of 2017 issuing the Arbitration Law in Civil and Commercial Matters, parties can elect the QICDRC as the “Competent Court” of arbitration to perform various functions in relation to interim measures, enforcement of awards and appeals.
About the Programme
Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre Training Programme on International Commercial Courts (Delivered in English)
This course is designed to build the knowledge and skills of lawyers practising in international commercial courts and appearing at the Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre.
Through a series of lectures and seminars, participants will explore the Court and Regulatory Tribunal’s regulations and procedural rules and develop their understanding of the legal frameworks and regulations that govern the cases and appeals before them.
Participants will also engage in practical workshops designed to help them apply the common law in the international commercial courts and address common ethical scenarios that they will face as a lawyer.
