The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Faisal Al-Sahouti, CEO of QICDRC, who briefed the delegation on the nature of the QICDRC, its jurisdiction and its procedures. There followed a discussion on common issues regarding judicial matters and, in particular, the operation of courts.
The delegation was Led by Judge Juma Al-Otaibi, a judge in the high federal court, Mr. Hamad Al-Mazroui, Mr. Nabil Al-Danhani , officials from the high federal courts and Mr. Khaled Al-Otaibi from the GCC council.
Mr. Al Sahouti emphasized the importance of exchanging expertise between both countries in order to assist in the development of the legal and judicial infrastructure which will ultimately lead to the more effective delivery of access to the courts and justice.
Following the discussion, the delegation toured the QICDRC’s facilities and visited the courtroom. The delegation had a brief explanation of some of the court’s procedures and the case management system that the court implements.
