The Template Mediation Agreement sets out suggested terms upon which the parties and the mediator agree. It covers important matters such as the conduct of the mediation, confidentiality, costs, exclusion of liability and law and jurisdiction. It is important that the parties tailor the agreement to meet their individual needs, especially in relation to applicable laws and the jurisdiction of courts.

Through its supervisory arbitrational jurisdiction under Law No 2 of 2017 issuing the Arbitration Law in Civil and Commercial Matters, parties can elect the QICDRC as the “Competent Court” of arbitration to perform various functions in relation to interim measures, enforcement of awards and appeals.
