15 Years
of Justice

The year 2025 proved to be a successful and momentous one for the Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre (QICDRC).

The Court's role in promoting increased access to Qatar's legal system ensured greater ease of doing business and more efficient dispute resolution mechanisms.

The Court followed through on its commitment towards Qatar's vision of providing better services for businesses and creating a stimulating business environment to attract international organisations.

QICDRC continued to uphold its key position among local and international forums while making new strides in the country's legal and judicial environment through thought-provoking discussions and innovative measures.

The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ not only cemented Qatar's position as a country that can surpass all expectations when it comes to hosting a successful global tournament, but it also provided opportunities for the Court to collaborate with the leading international body, The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), in the arena of sporting disputes.

President's
Message

“2025 brought further growth and development for the QICDRC as we continued to strengthen our position among the world's leading commercial courts. A major milestone this year was the launch of the QICDRC Training Programme on International Commercial Courts — a high-quality course delivered by the Registry together with QICDRC Judges, focused on litigation and procedure at international courts with a particular emphasis on the QICDRC's own jurisprudence.

We were delighted that senior lawyers from top law firms in Doha participated in the inaugural cohort. The Programme blended case-method teaching with practical advocacy exercises, giving participants direct insight into how international commercial disputes are managed from filing through to judgment.

Message

“2025 has been a year of remarkable growth and progress for the Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre (QICDRC), reinforcing our role as a global leader in international dispute resolution. From new legislative milestones to expanded international partnerships, every step has been taken with a clear vision: to build a court that is trusted, efficient, and responsive to the needs of modern commerce.

Our case volume continued to grow across all divisions, reflecting both confidence in the institution and the increasing sophistication of the Qatari and regional commercial market. The judiciary and Registry met this demand with unwavering commitment to procedural excellence and timely delivery of justice.
